Here we go!
Friday was my last day as a full-time member of the engineering team at Reboot Motion, a team I’ve been so honored to be part of for the last five-plus years. I joined Reboot as the first engineering hire, which has given me the chance to watch Reboot “grow up” into the world-class biomechanics platform that it is today, processing millions of movements a month and supporting an absolutely stellar slate of pro sports customers. This is truly one of the greatest groups of folks I have had the privilege of working with, so it’s bittersweet to be leaving (though not completely, as I’ll be sticking around in an advisory capacity). To Reboot founders Jimmy and Evan, thank you for placing your trust in me over the years; I’m so proud of what we’ve built together and excited for Reboot’s future!
As for what comes next, it’s a bit of a pivot! In a few weeks, I’ll join the Class of 2029 at Cardozo School of Law, where I plan to study intellectual property and technology law. I fell in love with law while finishing my undergraduate studies, and I am looking forward to applying my software experience in a brand-new context. I’ve got some hard work ahead of me (I hear the 1L workload is famous for being nice and relaxing), but I’m ready for the challenge. For any legal folks in my network, my inbox is open for any wisdom you might have to share! In the eternal words of my good buddy Super Mario… “Here we go!”
